Sicilian roots, Texas hospitality, and thirty years of professional kitchens — all landing on one plate.

Chef David Andersen is a professionally trained chef, educated at the Western Culinary Institute, where he trained classically in French technique, graduated near the top of his class, and developed a lasting soft spot for Asian fusion along the way. His approach to food was shaped early by his Sicilian grandmother, whose kitchen taught him that patience is the real secret ingredient — and it has stayed with him through every kitchen he's cooked in since.
His career has taken him from the San Francisco Bay Area to Alaska with Princess Cruises' rail tours, and through Las Vegas, San Diego, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. For over a decade in Frisco, Texas, he has cooked and catered for families and celebrations across North Texas.
His food is rooted in tradition, made with heart, and meant to bring people together.

A love letter to two food traditions that shaped one chef — and to the collision that happens when they finally meet on the same table. Big-batch dishes built to feed a crowd, sauces that simmer for hours, and the confidence that timid food feeds the stomach but never the soul.
